Join us for Farmer’s Tales episode 3: Practicing agroforestry in a family farm in Dehesa with Elena Escano. 🐷🌳
For our third episode, Elena will provide an introduction to the Dehesa, the characteristic ecosystem of southern Spain and Portugal. Through the lens of family production, she will prompt us to consider the importance of distinguishing products that are connected to the region. Food authentication is not only valued for the quality of products but also for the preservation of ecosystems, and Elena will discuss how farmers, consumers, and society can benefit from this practice.
