Get ready for the second online conversation in the virtual Farmer’s Tales series! This time we are joined by speakers from Arvaia and Fattoria Rio Selva, two multi-faceted examples of community supported agriculture (CSA) in the Italian context.

Together we can explore how to build resilient agricultural communities by discussing solidarity economy in practice, and the methods of organisation and distribution involved in sustaining CSAs.

Arvaia is a community that supports agriculture in Bologna, with 47 hectares dedicated to both agricultural land and public green areas. The community forms a collective who is directly involved in decision making on the land through solidarity mechanisms. To learn more visit: http://www.arvaia.it

Fattoria Rio Selva is an agricultural cooperative and part of a larger district of solidarity economy in the Veneto region. Alongside producing organic vegetables, the farm also has an active social and educational component. Find more at: http://www.fattoriarioselva.it
