Position: Internship Organizer

Duration: 5 months (End-March to Mid-August)

Additional Benefits: 3 ECTS credits for joining the Farm Experience Internship (FEI)

Overview:

Are you passionate about agroecology and community-driven initiatives? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where you can make a tangible impact? If so, we invite you to join us in organizing the Farm Experience Internship (FEI) with Boerengroe.

Internship Details:

  • Project Focus: The internship concentrates on organizing the FEI.
  • Structured Timeline: Collaborate with the Boerengroep coordinator to establish a realistic schedule for the internship, which may include days spent working on a farm.
  • FEI Organization: As an integral part of the FEI organizing team, you will engage in diverse activities such as program design, speaker invitations, coordination of subscriptions and promotions, fundraising, website management, student and farmer/gardener liaison, and evaluation setup.

About the Farm Experience Internship (FEI):

The FEI is a 3 ECTS summer course designed to explore agroecology from theoretical, practical, and movement-oriented perspectives. It spans four weeks, featuring lectures, workshops, excursions, practical internships on farms, and reflective sessions in Wageningen.
