Lekker Buiten: Outdoor Animal Husbandry

Op donderdagavond 19 april organiseert de Boerengroep i.s.m. de Studiekring Biologische Landbouw een symposium over het buiten houden van dieren. Verschillende experts (WUR, Friesland Campina, Stichting Weidegang, Puregraze), innovatieve boeren (o.a. van Buitengewone Varkens ) en studenten gaan in op de betekenis voor het welzijn en de gezondheid. Hoe realiseert de boer dit? Wat doet het onderzoek hieraan? Studenten, boeren, deskundigen en andere geïnteresseerden zijn van harte uitgenodigd om kennis te delen en inspiratie op te doen. Inclusief Delicious Outside Diner, met duurzame lokale seizoens ingrediënten door Puur-e en Bijzondere Tafelgasten.

About the challenges and possibilities

On Thursday April 19 Boerengroep and Studygroup Organic Agriculture organise a symposium about outdoor animal husbandry. Several experts (of WUR, Friesland Campina, Stichting Weidegang, and Puregraze), innovative farmers (a.o. of Buitengewone Varkens) and students will focus on welfare and health of animals. Does that improve? What are the challenges for farmers? How can research contribute? Interested students, farmers, experts and others are invited to share knowledge and become inspired to address the challenges. Delicious Outside! diner included, with sustainable local seasonal ingredients cooked for you by special cook Puur-e, with Special Table Guests.
