The Break is an informal space where you can meet up with other students, share ideas, get creative! It’s also where we get into dialogue on forum theatre and on challenges and new initiatives that farmers engage in in the Netherlands and around the world. Furthermore, it’s a great opportunity to get to know Boerengroep and Inspringtheater a little bit better, for example if you are thinking about joining one of the organizations.
But the best part is, that the Break above all allows us to have a good time together: it’s laid-back, semi-serious, with amazing local beer. With special editions, like the Sinterklaas-edition, as extra teasers! And also, no obligations to join a board, or to join each of the next Breaks.

For the last couple of months, Inspringtheater has also joined the Break! And starting in January, we decided to have certain subjects for each Break, to make it more interesting. These subjects don’t have to be discussed all through the night, but they will certainly be brought up. In this society we tend to sit on a chair for a long time on end, in order to break this habit, we developed a tool kit that we bring to each Break. Herein you can find a list of energizers to use when you see someone yawning, and some other fun activities. But to really get an idea of what to expect from a Break, you should just swing by, every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month!

A lovely bar that is amongst the oldest of the Netherlands. Its brewery warehouse used to host sheep, when it was still a sheepfold. We, farm lovers, like to imagine the heather still there around, as we sip our beers. Every first and third Thursday of the month at 20:00 in Café Onder de Linden, for all old and new faces!
