Thursday 31st of October Boerengroep, Greenpeace and the Forest and Nature Conservation Policy group are hosting a delegation of leaders of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil.

Location Impulse, 17:00-19:00.

Deforestation, land grabbing, exploitation of labour and rampant use of pesticides threaten the environment and people in Brazil. That is why APIB – Brazil’s Indigenous People Articulation – is touring Europe: to inform its citizens and to move governments and businesses towards action. At this unique event at Impulse, you have the opportunity to connect with these Indigenous leaders.

Join the dialogue and find out how we, students and researchers, can impact trade and production of agricultural commodities, as well as government actions to protect indigenous territories. The program consists of a plenary meeting facilitated by Barbara Oliveira, after which the public and the leaders will go deeper into several topics in smaller groups, and finally a wrap-up to connect all the outcomes of both sessions.

Please register here (https://forms.gle/PEg9h8o3DYqT6w2b7), so we have an idea of how many people will be joining and so you can already pose a question you would like to ask the delegation.
Hope to see you all there!
